Klueh Blog November 2015

I have been working hard for this journey and the next one. Amidst my heavy training schedule, I have been interviewing at medical schools and completing coursework at a nearby university. Both of my goals, qualifying for the Olympic Games and becoming a successful physician, go hand in hand. They each require a high level of dedication, work ethic, and time management skills. This has been a very exciting time, gaining a glimpse of what life after swimming may look like for me.

I’m also preparing to compete at Winter Nationals in a couple of weeks. This will be a great checkpoint of where I am in my training as I continue to work towards the Olympic Trials. Later this month, Emily and I will be taking our mothers to USA Swimming’s Golden Goggle Awards in Los Angeles. This is a really cool experience to share with our parents, as we would never have made it this far without their support.
