Dolfin Pro Melanie Margalis was on fire this weekend at the 2016 Atlanta Classic Swim Meet! With some of the best swimmers in the world showing up to compete and Trials less than two months away, Georgia Tech’s McAuley Aquatic Center was packed with excitement. On day one, Melanie snagged the 100 breaststroke victory from the third place seed by dropping almost two seconds off her prelims time to go an impressive 1:07.48. Melanie surged from behind by bringing home the second 50 almost a half second faster than the rest of the field. Her endurance continued to pay off in the 200 breaststroke on day two. Melanie cruised to victory with a 2:26.66, touching the wall almost two seconds ahead of the second place finisher, Laura Sogar. Melanie is looking good going into Trials next month! We can’t wait!
